Much of the work of DAR is accomplished by volunteers in its chapters across the United States and internationally. The DAR’s three mission objectives are historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

The Cienega Creek Chapter, NSDAR, is based in Vail, Arizona, located approximately twenty-four miles southeast of central Tucson. The chapter was organized on February 5, 2023, welcoming twenty members.
